Our Club is situated in the beautiful city of
Puri, also called
Shri Jagannath Dham, meaning
"Abode of the Lord of
Universe". It is situated on the eastern shore of India adjacent to the
Bay of Bengal (see Map). Our city is known for its amicable climate and
a very peaceful atmosphere. The main attraction is the towering 12th
century temple and the beautiful sea beach. It is a tourist's paradise
which is at the hub of a number of old monuments and tribal sight seeing
areas.
Our Club received its charter on the 20th June, 2001.
The club was sponsored by Rotary Club of Temple City, Bhubaneswar. We
The club meets on every Sunday, 7.30 pm at Sagar Tarang, CT Road, Puri.
At present we have 43 members.
